Vegan Cherry Berry Smoothie
3/4 cup frozen cherries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tsp chia seeds
1 scoop brown rice protein powder
-Place all ingredients in blender on ice setting and then on high until smooth. Add enough water (1/4 to 1/2 cup) to desired thickness.
I drink this shake for breakfast on many mornings. It’s packed with antioxidants and cherries are not only delicious, they act as anti-inflammatories.
