I hate to leave Alabama. It has been wonderfully relaxing. Wolf Bay is idyllic: quiet, natural and the ocean at Orange Beach so much fun. I will truly miss our time here. The condo is large, quiet and private. We’ve eaten supper on the balcony each night. The closest town called Foley is so old fashioned. I love the Southern hospitality. People are so polite and friendly. I adore the southern extroverted friendliness and politeness–I believe such interactions are good for a culture. On our last day in Alabama we actually visited 4 states in one day. We woke in Alabama, tried out a beach in Florida, drove through Mississippi and ended our day back in Louisiana were we’ll stay in New Orleans for the remainder of our trip.
