I used that quote and this pic for a power point presentation recently. I know..a shameless plug for my family.
Party is going to be HUGE! I realized it is almost as big as my wedding. A true Holly Golightly party to be sure. The cars are going to be parked all the way down to the park!
I am on meds for a face infection. I hope they kick in so I won’t be the “beast” at the party.
Downloaded some great Disney classic songs for Pip. They are such fun to sing and dance to.
Tabs still suffering from separation anxiety. I have her talking with the school councillor tomorrow.
Fernando still up to nothing but shenanigans! I was holding him on my lap while I worked on the computer. And something startled the little guy and next thing I knew, a horrid stench kept following me around the house. I was frantic at what it was. Then I realized that the little beast had “Blown his beans” on my dress! I stank! So much for letting him relax on me while I work! However, he is chubby little black ball of love and is impossible to resist. Silver is better today. he was quite ill yesterday. Vomiting blood and plastic toys–Oh, the trial of our pets!
Peter is in Vancouver this evening for a few days. I am going to my hot yoga for the first time in years! Be prepared for a red faced me!
Mist has Drama practise after school. She’s named her character (a fairy) Larch. She still has a sore throat.
Pip is going to day care for the next three mornings while I work, work, work! …listening to “ho-ho-ho and a bottle of rum!’ song at the moment.
Miranda and John arrive on Saturday to look for a house here. They sold their home in Guelph in one day! Unbelievable! But check it out online–King Street, Guelph Ontario, 3 story brick. It looks gorgeous!
Gotta go take Pip to day care….listening to “we are Siamese” cat song now! Gotta love these tunes!

The more news I hear about the party, the more nervous I get.
