SQUEEZE

This is me, missing the hub-bub of life with my girls. I have been working every day–finishing up all my class assignments so that next week I can devote myself to my girls. They have 2 weeks spring break. The first week they are in Nelson with Auntie Theresa, and the second week, back home.Peter and I have been going to movies, renting movies and eating out. The movies seem to have nasty themes. I’m tired of them all: “The International” (shoot em up and no ending), “Rachel’s Getting Married”(Dark and a little dull), and finally “I’ve Loved You For so Long”–dark and completely unbelievable event the entire movie is based on! So what to do now? I want to see “The Reader” next–I’m still not sick of movies yet! Peter and slept in and missed the gym. We did manage a morning hike though. So tonight we will hit the gym. And tomorrow, I believe there is some sort of UBC learning gala we could attend.
The best food item worth a mention is McCain’s new sweet potato fries. So delicious and no trans-fats. Easier than chopping them up yourself.
Peter and I are leaving for Nelson on Friday. We will stay at the Hotel downtown:The Heritage. We”ll be able to attend Theresa’s dinner party. Yay for Theresa’s suppers!
Believe it or not, I am getting tired of writing research papers. I am craving writing fiction and painting. I want to get deep into the forests and paint again! Will I be able to squeeze in some creative endeavors again, before I am finished my masters?
And remember, all you snowboarders, skiers, skaters out there: PUT ON YOUR HELMETS!

Yes, helmut wear should be worn. Poor Natasha Richardson. I wonder if it was the ski fall on the bunny hill while taking lessons or something more. Cerebral Aneurysm?? I had to write as I noticed a poster in the background of this photo that looks very familiar. Is that from Paris?
Hope all is well at your end with everyone.

Just noticed this comment–yes, Paris it is! You gave it to me many years ago–still enjoying it, thanks!
