There is a Time For Everything. Be Ready.

Time

I thought I’d share a little on my latest philosophy on life. Basically, how to live it all.

We all have many life intentions, dreams and plans. We might fully acknowledge our blessings in the here and now (many of us are currently living our greatest dreams); yet, we all have one or two dreams that are not a part of our here and now, dreams that we have put on the back burner for later…

Time trudges on, full steam ahead and we fear that perhaps we will not be able to accomplish these deeply cherished desires in one life time. The realization hurts.

Call me an optimist, but I don’t accept that. Sure, I realize that I need at least 100 lifetimes to delve into all of life’s wonders and explore my interests to my fullest desire (I would be an astrophysicist in another lifetime, a professional dancer, an anthropologist or wildlife biologist—to name a few areas that fascinate me). I’ve accepted that I’ll only live approximately 100 years (if I’m lucky); so, I too have prioritized and let go…

But I have a few here and now in-this-life-time dreams that I will not give up. Yet, in my current life it seems nearly impossible to fit these desires into my here and now for financial, logistical and other important reasons.

What to do…

Sweat it, literally. I believe that there is a time to accomplish all of one’s truest aspirations in life; yet, that time is often unknown to us and surprises us. This is why you must be ready for anything life throws your way—now!

How to Be Ready to meet your dreams:

You must be in top shape in the here and now. This means get in your best physical, mental and spiritual shape right now. Start training…time is a wasting!

BODY READY  I attempt to keep my body in the best health I can with much exercise, yoga stretching, sleep and a healthy diet.

MIND READY  I attempt to keep my mind in the best shape possible with hard core cardio workouts (this strengths the brain), challenging it with new things, being socially active, educating myself in areas that interest me, disciplined daily work that advances my career intentions.

SPIRIT READY  I attempt to keep my spiritual self in shape with meditation, practicing Buddhist philosophy, time spent in nature daily, and time nurturing my family (this includes me).

FINANCIALLY READY I attempt to keep myself in my best financial shape with knowledge. I keep on top of all family financial transactions daily and then meet once a month with my partner to examine and discuss the big picture. Sometimes, all I have to work with is knowledge and the big picture looks grim….Though, with knowledge, I am ready for change.

The universe is listening.

The opportunity you desire will present itself.

Don’t let it pass you by when it does.

Be ready.
