Koalas of South Australia

My eldest daughter lives in South Australia. This early spring–in Canada, early fall in Australia–Mistaya took me on many amazing hikes. My favouirte was a hike through koloa country. We spotted a total of 23 wild koalas in the trees on that hike. Koalas take the brunt of climate change and bush fires; thus, it was a thrill to se so many thriving in this particular protected forest.
