A Bohemian’s Guide to the Wild Woods
There is no greater art form than nature and no art lover greater than a true bohemian.
My passion for all things wild and free is the inspiration behind Boho Wild; it is a space to celebrate life for those who wish to walk lightly on the earth and leave nothing behind but footprints. To trek or to ponder? That is the question a true bohemian asks oneself when about to step into the wilds of Earth. Boho Wild encourages the fine art of sauntering through wild spaces. Boho Wild follows my quest to pursue the art of writing & painting while raising my daughters in a chaotic modern world. Through Boho Wild, I share our adventures as we walk toward wild, in the sacred playground called Earth. I follow the ancient trackways of my Irish, Norse, and Baltic ancestors: from the temperate rainforests and coastal waters of Northern Europe, to the temperate rainforests and coastal waters of British Columbia, Canada, North America.
“I have met with but one or two persons in the course of my life who understood the art of walking, that is, of taking walks–who had a genius, so to speak, for SAUNTERING…”
– Henry David Thoreau (an expert from his book Walking).
