The pictures are from Mist’s Ballet concert last evening. She attended Kelowna Dance and Performing Arts this past year. She enjoyed her year and was a most graceful and beautiful dancer. The comradery amongst the dancers is always delightful to see. Mist is a very social creature and has always told me that the best part of performing is chatting with her friends while they wait back stage.
Our concerts are in the home stretch. We have a piano examination this coming week, a piano concert for Mist and Tabs, sports day for Pip, Spring Fair for Tabs and Pip and then grade six graduation for Tabs and finally kindergarten grad for Pip. Oh, also, boarding school for Devil-Dogs starts next week for Pablo. That includes me attending two days worth of training sessions. I finish my UBC Online Freelance Writing course next week. YAY! I completed my last article and will mail that off tomorrow.
It has been the wettest and coolest spring on record since I arrived in the Okanagan Valley eleven years ago. I count on spending my weekends at the beach all through June. So far, I have been unable to do this. It is so easy to count on the beach to entertain/relax one. Without the hot weather, I actually have to work on creating fun weekends. I miss being able to be a little bit lazy. Bring on the hot sun! I want to play at the beach all weekend long again. I do have a wonderful summer waiting to unfold before me. I will let that unfold day by day as to not spoil any delightful blog posts 😉
