| Pip at age 70 While in Vancouver, I took a little trip to the future. I travelled ahead about 65 years and had a wee visit with my daughters. These are pics of what they look like at age 70. We actually did this at the Vancouver Science Centre (photo editing). I thought Tabs looks like me and Pip her dad! Home from Vancouver to a busy week of writing and dancing. I love teaching kids. They are the most fun creatures on earth. I get hugs at the end of class and comments, “Thank-you, I had a wonderful time.” 🙂 Friday nights have become pizza and movie parties at our house. After ZumbAtomics, my nieces and a dear Friend of Tab’s meet at our house for pizza and a movie. It always provides for quite a festive atmosphere at our house 🙂 I met with a professional scholarly writer to discuss my thesis. She is an amazing teacher. I learned much about the basic writing technique of a Lit Review. My original Lit Review was written annotative style as was taught by my professor. I received an A+ on it. However, apparently, they teach the annotative Lit Review in Education at UBC but will not accept that style for a thesis in their department–most insane. So, my difficulties have emerged from trying to turn an annotative Lit Review into an entire other style of Lit review. It would have been easier to start over. Attempting a rewrite it is like trying to turn bread into pasta. Thank G for Dr. Carolyn La Bun. She is a master teacher. Off to party across the street tonight. A neighbor is turning 50! And then tomorrow a movie I have been eager to see–staring yet another one of my crushes, Daniel Craig. I’ve enjoyed his work for over ten years–when he was staring in BBC miniseries. He was hot then too 🙂 Taught myself some 70’s moves: the hustle and the bump. I choreographed a fun 70’s song. Will show you it soon. Gotta love the 70’s! |
