Me Encanta La Música

A few artistic stills from my last Zumba video. Pippi (the one in the cool shades) told me afterwards she had on fake werewolf teeth throughout the song! She is so adorable, that little girl of mine 🙂 

I love Spanish music and dance and the language.  Alex Cuba was AMAZING last night. He is such a talented guitar player, singer and song writer. From the second he played his first note, I was in the beautiful world of Latin music. I did not awake from it until the concert ended. I danced in my seat the entire concert as one can not sit still for Latin music. My life is immersed in Latin music at the moment. I dance to it daily. You’d think I’d be fluent in Spanish by now…

But have no fear, I am going to take Spanish and more ballroom style Latin dance this winter. I cannot get enough of Spanish culture. I was Spanish in one of my past lives–whether it was a Spanish cockroach or a Cuban street dog–my soul believes itself to have the Spanish vibe.

And on to slightly less passionate topics, I got the UBC exam invigilator job. I start with training next week.
