For a refreshing and nutritious summer smoothie, try this peach smoothie from the California Cling Peach Board. Canned peaches are always easy to have on hand and are very nutritious: canned peaches have 3x the vitamin C as fresh peaches and also contain 1.5 x more antioxidants than fresh peaches. The Greek yogurt adds protein to make this a well rounded nutritious breakfast.
I made this recipe on Sunday morning and brought one to my teenage daughter in her bed. It was an easy way to get her to eat breakfast (she often misses breakfast saying she’s not hungry)!
