The movie “Duchess” was very good and very disturbing. It was about selfishness and misogyny and also about desire and sacrifice. I feel so sad about certain elements of the movie, even this AM.
I am off for my run very soon–just enough light in the forest now. Dinner at Earls was nice–it was very busy last night. Tabs is off to the dentist and then PJ heads to the airport. Tabs has piano this evening and then my little girls and I will be baching it. Having sleepless nights–unusual for me. Although I didn’t meditate last night so perhaps that is partly the cause. At least my demands for a minority government came true! I knew he’d get in–but a majority government would be devastating for this country! Good news is that Justin Trudeau is on his way–he’s a real environmentalist/socialist, so this is good.
My paper is finished–I hope my readers don’t pulverize it!
