You Twisted My Rubber Arm–Yet Again!

OK…your wish is my command: Me in my new bikini. And yes, I christened her this afternoon at the pool with Tabi and her class and the Pip. Pip and I spent an hour in the kiddies pool. And it was so hot that I needed to stop at Starbucks on the way home just to rehydrate myself and cool my body temp down!

Now, you must know at what great personal cost it is to me, to even post these photos. I read in “The Globe and Mail” that Facebook provides psychiatrists easy info on who is a narcissist. Apparently narcissists are those with a very large number of “friends”, those who post a lot of photos of themselves in general (especially sexy photos).
One point me—No need to worry about the friends number. I am relatively unpopular on Facebook, compared to most people out there, with only 31 friends to date. But one strike against me is yes, I do post a lot of photos of myself but also of all my family. And now, dang it–these photos might be considered on the “sexy” side. So there you go, I could be considered a narcissist. But the most important tale-tell sign is that narcissists prefer tons of superficial friendships. Where as I prefer a few close, intimate ones (two points for me!) In conclusion, I am not a narcissist because of these photos. Maybe a little vane but that’s all. And besides, they provide ample entertainment for  those enjoying the latest bathing suit styles for the cruising season. I do love the chocolate colour.
This tea party/Mama Mia party of Tabitha’s has exploded. One too many of her little friends has leaked info about this fab party and one by one, I have felt sorry for this or that excluded little girl and have said,  “Just invite her Tabs.” So, the guest count is now reaching endemic proportions as we gradually invite every little girl in Kelowna.
Working….freaking out about not enough work time….
Pip is totally potty trained!!! Asked me on 4 occasions while we were swimming to “go tinkles.” Yes, I spent the hour running to and fro the toilets with my little swimmer.
Peter chaired the UBC senate meeting for a portion of today–he felt very good about that I must say.
