Queen Of The Godforsaken Has Arrived…

The Queen… has arrived on my door step—two boxes filled with my debut novel. Thank you Thistledown Press! These are the books that I purchased from my publisher to sell at events outside of bookstores such as my book launch, library, and coffee shop readings etc..

It feels great to have my novel all wrapped up in a book to hold onto. I am thrilled with the cover and the font design (thank you Stephanie Strain).  I LOVE the little lightening bolt icons (a nod to Ziggy Stardust) that indicate breaks in the novel—you’ll have to read the book to understand its significance.

I’m excited to be shipping an order of 15 down to Nelson today to the infamous Nelson Book Club. I’m eager to meet all the attendees of this Kootenay book club that I have heard so much about! I have the honour of attending the club as a guest author on an evening that I’ll be down in Nelson At Otter Books for a reading/signing (October 24).

*For those of you frustrated because the book isn’t in your local book store yet, ask them to order you one in—as is often the case with debut novels, the bookstore is hesitant to order in a big stash right away. Of course, you can always order online from Indigo Chapters, Amazon or Barnes and Nobel etc.

*For those of you who live far away and have requested a signed copy, I’ll message you for your mailing addresses and send those out this week. The price of the book is $17 CAN + shipping.
